James Brook (British, b. 1974) began as a copyist of Renaissance and late 19th century paintings after graduating with a BA (hons) in Fine Art/Theatre & Film from the University of York St John, UK in 1997.


His work looks at human identity, lineage and time examining the relationship between the everyday and the extra mundane. He is a member of the british art group YO! Collective founded in 2016. He has organized many exhibitions in the UK and been a part of numerous competitive international group shows in London and New York.
